Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Workshop Overview
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based form of psychotherapy designed to help individuals manage mental and emotional challenges by changing unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. Instead of dwelling on past experiences, CBT focuses on addressing current problems and finding effective solutions.
What Is CBT?
CBT is grounded in the concept that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. Negative thought patterns can lead to distressing emotions and counterproductive actions. The goal of CBT is to help individuals recognize these patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and replace them with healthier, more constructive ones. By breaking overwhelming issues into smaller, more manageable parts, CBT empowers people to improve their mental well-being.
Focus and Approach
The core focus of CBT is on the present moment. It is a structured, time-limited, and goal-oriented therapy aimed at providing practical strategies for improving mood and managing stress. By learning how to reframe negative thinking, individuals gain tools to better cope with life’s challenges.
Workshop Format
Our CBT workshop offers 32 easy-to-follow videos, ranging from 59 seconds to 20 minutes. The format is designed to be flexible, allowing you to:
-
Learn at your own pace, without the pressure of keeping up with a class.
-
Watch the videos as many times as needed to fully absorb the concepts.
-
Practice CBT techniques in a comfortable, stress-free environment.
Who Can Benefit from CBT?
CBT is commonly used to treat conditions such as:
-
Anxiety disorders
-
Depression
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
-
Phobias
-
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
However, the principles of CBT can benefit everyone. Even individuals without a formal diagnosis can apply CBT techniques to enhance their emotional resilience, face fears, and cultivate a calmer, more balanced mindset.
Why Learn CBT?
Understanding CBT is a valuable skill that not only helps you manage your own mental health but also equips you to support others. This workshop offers an opportunity to strengthen your coping abilities, develop healthier thinking patterns, and build emotional resilience—all at your own pace.
Get ready to sharpen your skills, face your fears, and learn how to calm your mind with this accessible and effective CBT workshop.
CBT is an evidence-based treatment that combines cognitive therapy, which examines thoughts, and behavior therapy, which examines actions.

This is so cool - I completed some of the on-line Mental Health Advocacy Inc. workshops. What they are saying is common sense but I just never put it all together or understood how it all the pieces fit to compliment each other. It just popped with me, and now I'm doing so much better, it is truly a transformative experience. The stuff I learned empowered me to take charge of my mental well-being.
